The Fountain of Life
The Fountain of Life, or in its earlier form the Fountain of Living Waters, is a Christian iconography symbol associated with baptism and/or eucharist, first appearing in the 5th century in illuminated manuscripts and later in other art forms such as panel paintings. Today it is in the collection of the Museo del Prado, Madrid. Fountains and water sources have played an important role in the history and are essential to life. A fountain symbolizes life, truth, change, and water. It represents what we already know, have practiced and are willing to pass along to others. Flowing water in the fountain symbolises the flow of money, happiness, and love. Therefore, a fountain in and around your home can bring you good luck and positivity. (:
